New Year Resolutions for 2016

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to write some of my goals for 2016 so I can look back on them, I have quite a few but to be honest I am not going to be super strict on myself if they don't work out!

1. Eat less chocolate - This is just because I have acne and I have heard a lot of people saying that sugar can inflame acne and make it become a lot more red. So originally I wanted to give up chocolate for January as I ate a lot in December but it did not go to plan as I have a lot of Christmas chocolate left but I am definitely keeping it in mind and trying to eat less of it. So when all the Christmas chocolate is go I am going to try and give it up or for sure not eat as much of it.

2. Drink 3 pints of water a day - I know the guideline is to drink eight glasses a day but it depends on you so the intake is different for everyone. I am definitely drinking a lot of water but I haven't quite hit the 3 pint mark every single day but everyone that knows me knows that I drink a lot of water as it is so I am not worried I haven't quite drank 3 pints every single day.

3. Exercise once a week - I walk everywhere and I do go out quite a lot which means I am walking all the time, but I want to start exercising once a week so I feel active and push myself a bit. It will just be something like a 5/10 minute workout so I need to look for apps to use.

4. Start Yoga - I tried Yoga once as my Mum used to go regularly (until her Yoga teacher gave up the class after about a year and a half) and I went along with her but I really didn't enjoy it. However I want to get back into it and try again as people say it is amazing for your body, so my Mum and Me have decided we are both going to start it up again and go together.

5. Keep up blogging - I have now decided to post every other day on here and I really want to try and keep that up but there will be days that I am super busy and don't get a chance to write or take pictures which is why I will try to write some in advance.

6. Go to bed earlier - As I am now back into my normal routine I want to go to bed earlier so I am able to get up, enjoy the day and get things done instead of having a nap as that wastes so much time!

These are my main ones so I hope you enjoyed it and let me know what your resolutions are!

What I treated myself to in December

Hi Everyone,

So I always buy myself quite a few items during December, usually in the sales as December is my Birthday and Christmas which is why I always treat myself. Everything from this blogpost I bought in the December sales after boxing day except the foundation.

I was tired of using all my foundations that I hated as I was using them to try and get rid of them but when I realised how disgusting the foundation looked on my face I knew I needed to purchase a new foundation. This foundation is by far the best one I have come across as I used this about two years ago and it covers my skin acne so well which I why I went back to a foundation that I knew and loved, I will do a review on this soon. This was £12.99 from Revlon and its in the shade 'Buff'.

I never shop in Jack Wills but I went in with my God-brother and saw this. I don't know what it is about this sweatshirt but I really liked it from the minute I saw it and to make things even better this was £39 reduced to £26 which I thought was a good deal and I didn't even really think about it I just got it straight away! This is super cosy and really good quality I am wearing it right now!

I have needed a black scarf to go with my coat for so long and I haven't come across one that I really liked but luckily I found this in H&M and it was such a a bargain because it said it was £4 in the sale but when I went to pay for it, it was actually £2 which is so cheap for how soft it feels, it was definitely a good buy!

I was mainly looking for some new tops and this is one I found in Topshop. I thought it would be see through as it is cream with black sleeve and neck outlining but it wasn't see through and it was £12 reduced to £7. It is labelled as a cropped top but this is a size 10 so it isn't very cropped on me which I like.

I hope you managed to find some bargains in the sales!

What I got in my Selfridges Advent Calendar

Hi Everyone,

So My Mum decided to surprise me with the Selfridges advent calendar at the beginning of December which was a complete surprise to me we shared it so each day we opened the door and took in turns and we are going to share out the stuff fairly so it wasn't all for me but I thought I would show you some of my favourite bits from what we opened. It was definitely worth it and I would recommend it as you gets lots of different types of things such as haircare, beauty, body, skincare.

As you can see there are a lot of high end products in there and this was only half of what we got, some are mini sized and some are full sized but I really am happy with what we got and I am super excited to try it all out!

December Favourites

Hi Everyone,

So December has been a whirlwind month and it has gone by so quickly! But I do have a few favourites so here goes.

Mac Mehr
Another nude lipstick that I am super into at the minute is 'Mehr' by Mac. I find myself picking this up every single day to wear as I absolutely love how it looks on me! I have had a lot of compliments from it and it goes with everything without looking too much. It is the kind of lipstick where you know someone is wearing something but it still looks really good and natural. I am so in love and will re purchase this as soon as its run out!

Contour brush
Another thing I got for my birthday was this kit from Real techniques and I love the Contour brush from it. It makes contour so much easier and I can now actually do it unlike before as well as highlight with another brush that came with one so I may also do a review on these brushes if you want to see that.

Revlon foundation
I have just re purchased this as I used it about two years ago and absolutely loved it! However when it ran out I tried other foundations and have never found anything as good as this so I thought I would go back to it and once again I am in love! I will be doing a review on this soon so look out for that!

Maybelline pencil
I saw this in the shops a while back and have wanted it for a while. I got it for my birthday and it is pretty much Velvet Teddy's dupe. I think it look pretty similar to velvet teddy as I have tried that on in the shops and I really like this for times when I can't get away with a bold lip so I go for this lip option which I love!

Makeup wipes
I know makeup wipes are bad for your skin and I have always avoided them until I realised we had seven packets of them in the cupboard which had been bought as presents so I started to use them to get through them and it is such a easier method. I always cleanse after using them so my makeup is still definitely getting taken off and I will go back to actual makeup remover once I have gotten rid of some of the many packets we own!

Warm this Winter song
I love this song so much and I recently re discovered it!

Nike's
These are the Nike Juvenates which I got for my birthday and I love them as they go with everything and are super comfortable!

My Christmas tree decoration
This comes out every year and it is so simple which is why I love it. It looks really elegant and clean in the corner of my room.

I know there were a lot of beauty products in this months favourites but that's because I had received it all for my birthday so I have been playing with lots of new makeup and I am really enjoying makeup at the minute!

What I got for Christmas 2015

Hi Everyone,

I have finally got around to writing what I got for Christmas. I am NOT posting to show off but these blogposts/youtube videos are my favourite kind to watch and I want to be able to look back on this. I am also extremely grateful for everything I received and I love my presents! Lets get started...

So I mainly asked for Primark pyjamas as they are my favourite and are a really good price! These are all from Primark except the white pyjama bottoms with gold snowflakes which are from Tesco.

These were also in my stocking and I am super excited to try out the Simple rollerball!

So I have wanted the Pink sprays for so long and one of my best friends bought me set of four minis which smell so good and are perfect for my bag! I also got some mini perfumes from my stocking and I am excited to try the Prada Candy one.

Obviously I got Chocolate and Terry's chocolate orange are my favourite so I did good

These are some small bits and bobs - A lush bath bomb, a heart mirror, manicure kit and a mug with H on which I have honestly wanted for so long!

I got some clothes, this one is a black cropped top that I got from my best friend from Topshop.

Some more perfume which I am excited to try as I have heard good things about Ghost and a Maccys bag from New York.

This was one of the presents from my Mum which is a gold and white bangle with my name engraved onto it and I love it as it is super personal!

A rose gold bracelet that I now wear every day.

This was my favourite present that I wasn't expecting as I have wanted one of these Ted Baker purses for about two year now! It is pink (my favourite colour) and the inside is rose gold, I don't even want to use it because I don't want it to get dirty!

I somehow managed to get two They're real Benefit mascaras to add to my ever growing mascara collection and I can't wait to try them!

I hope you have all had a good Christmas and a happy New Year!

My Christmas Nails

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would show you the Nails I went with over the Christmas Period.

Before I painted my nails I used the Barry M base coat and once this had dried I went onto the red colour which is '24' from Bourjouis and then I did white glitter on both of my ring fingers which I liked because it made it look like snow! The glitter was Ciate 'Chalet Chic' then on the top I used the Ciate topcoat 'Bloom boost'.
